Classes and Divisions

Green Hunter - Open to all junior, amateurs and professionals.  Open to horses or ponies in the first year of showing.  A rider may not cross-enter a horse in green to any other divisions.

Green Hunter 18" - Open to all junior, amateurs and professionals.  Open to horses or ponies in the first year of showing.  A rider may not cross-enter a horse in green to any other divisions.

***RIDERS MAY ONLY ENTER TWO CONSECUTIVE DIVISIONS**

Hunter 2'  - Open to all junior and amateurs. 

Equitation 2' - Open to all junior and amateurs.  Riders must enter entire division to ride in equitation class.

Hunter 2'3" - Open to all junior and amateurs.

Equitation  2'3" - Open to all junior and amateurs.  Riders must enter entire division to ride in equitation class

Hunter 2'6"  - Open to all junior and amateurs.

Equitation 2'6"  Open to all junior and amateurs.  Riders must enter entire division to ride in equitation class.

 Hunter 2'9" - Open to all junior, amateurs and professionals. 

Equitation 2'9" - Open to all junior and amateurs.  Riders must enter entire division to ride in equitation class.

Pre-Beginner - Open to junior rider.   Open to horses or ponies.  Pre-beginner may not cross over to any other divisions.

Intermediate Beginner - Open to junior rider.   Open to horses or ponies.  Intermediate may also enter intermediate cross rails.  Intermediate may not cross over to any other divisions.

Advanced Beginner - Open to junior rider.  Open to horses or ponies.  Advance may also enter cross rails courses and Advanced Beginner 18" only.  Advanced may not cross over to any other divisions.

Cross Rails Courses -   Courses may have vertical fences.

Sunset Ranch Horse shows will operate in accordance with the current rules of GHJA.  Every person who participates in the shows is responsible for knowledge and subject to GHJA rules.
