Fun, Family Oriented Horse Shows in West Georgia
Show Details
We host a fun, friendly and family oriented show and look forward to your participation. Proof of Negative Coggins test required to bring horses on show grounds and will be checked. We use the USEF Rules.
Show begins at 9:00am
Pre-Registration By Phone: Call Terri Usher at 770-459-9101 E-MAIL pre-registration : Pre-register! Must be made before 10:00 pm the Wednesday before the show.
Prices: Classes are $9.00(pre-registered) and $11.00 day of the show, plus a $8.00 office fee per horse/rider combinations. $25.00 fee for returned checks.
Ribbons given 1st to 6th place. Grand/Reserve Champion given for all division with 3 or more entries. Trainer with 3 or more riders receives a ribbon to award to rider with best attitude and most improved for the day
Conduct Any act of discourtesy to a Judge, Show Official, Announcer or Staff member on the part of any Trainer, Owner, Rider or Parent will immediately disqualify and horse with which they are associated and all entry fees will be forfeited. No one should approach the Judge. Judges cards will be made available by appointment with Show Official.
Schooling Riders must have a trainer in the arena during warm-up if jumping. For safety reason schooling will be limited to 6 to 8 horses/ponies in the arena at one time. The Gatekeeper will oversee time use.
ATSM/SEI Helmets required while mounted .anywhere on the property “Show Clothes are preferred Or you Must wear chaps, jeans, paddock books and polo type shirt with collar. No flat soled shoes, tank tops or t-shirts . Above 85 Degrees and jackets will be waved.
Tack: Only standard Hunter tack is allowed during the horse show. Standing martingale allowed for Beginner and Green Division classes. No running martingales, German martingales, hackamores side or draw reins. No flash, drop, or figure eight nosebands. No Stacked ring, elevator or gag bits. Please ask prior to start of your class if you are not sure.
Dogs All dogs must be on leashes in agreement with state and local laws. Unrestrained dogs are a safety hazard for exhibitor and their horse.
Directions 1-20 west, Exit Post Rd, turn right, go 1/4 mile, turn left onto Mason Creek. Go to stop sign. Cross directly over Hwy 78, the road is now Mann Road. Go 4.2 miles to 3-way stop, turn right onto gravel Stockmar Rd. Go .8 miles and Sunset Ranch is on the right.
